A diamond cut finish is becoming increasingly popular nowadays especially on high spec vehicles. You can recognise a diamond cut finish by looking for a shiny bare metal effect on the wheel, often in combination with a painted colour surface. Diamond cutting is sometimes referred to as diamond polishing as the process produces a highly polished metal effect, the faces of the wheels are very shiny almost like the back of a CD
The diamond cut finish is achieved by first painting the wheel with the desired colour then we use a specialised wheel turning lathe with a diamond tipped cutter. At Wheel Fix we have state of the art computerised machines that can handle wheels up to 28″ in size, this enables us to cut wheels that many other companies will not attempt.
